Bill started Fore Properties in 2001. In 2005, Bill was approached by Jim & Sally Thomas, owners of Old South Realty since 1979, and purchased their business in October of that year. Bill is originally from Tenafly, N.J. and graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. in 1975. Prior to his real estate career he ran a very successful costume jewelry business, providing private label merchandise to most of the countries major retailers, but it was his passion for real estate investing and the allure of the Sandhills that turned him in a different direction, one that he’s never regretted. “I feel so fortunate to work and live in this area and to be surrounded by so many good people. It’s a privilege to live here. The quality of life is quite special and quite unique. Moore County is a great place to raise a family, or spend a lifetime. I wish I had come here many years sooner.”
