Bill has been actively involved in the real estate brokerage business since 1999 in the Pinehurst and Southern Pines real estate area. In that time, he has been involved in over 400 transactions, and is consistently one of Moore Counties top producing brokers.
Today, Bill is the Broker/Owner of Fore Properties.
Bill started Fore Properties in 2001. His work ethic, entrepreneurial management skills, and tireless advocacy on behalf of his buyer and seller clients made Fore Properties one of Moore Counties fastest growing real estate companies. In 2005, Bill was approached by Jim & Sally Thomas, owners of Old South Realty since 1979, and purchased their business in October of that year. The two companies joined forces and Fore Properties now stands as one of the top producing firms in the Southern Pines & Pinehurst real estate arena.

Bill is originally from Tenafly, N.J. and graduated from Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. in 1975. Prior to his real estate career he ran a very successful costume jewelry business, providing private label merchandise to most of the countries major retailers, but it was his passion for real estate investing and the allure of the Sandhills that turned him in a different direction, one that he’s never regretted. “I feel so fortunate to work and live in this area and to be surrounded by so many good people. It’s a privilege to live here. The quality of life is quite special and quite unique. Moore County is a great place to raise a family, or spend a lifetime. I wish I had come here many years sooner.”
