The Sandhills Community College Horticultural Gardens feature the Ebersole Holly Collection, a special conifer garden, the Sir Walter Raleigh Garden (which is a formal English rose garden) and the Desmond Wetland Trail.
The Horticultural Gardens are designed, planted and maintained by the horticultural students of Sandhills Community College. Many of the graduates of this program may be found as groundskeepers for important public buildings in our nation's capital as well as in other areas of the US.
